I tried switching from Fennec to Mull a couple years ago, but every third site broke with it. So I reinstalled Fennec.

I think tmdb should have you covered
The article makes some good points. Most people downvoting it probably just see a title that attacks their favourite game distribution platform, if there even is such a thing.
Personally, I treat Steam like a rental service, because that’s what it is. Meaning I exclusively “buy” games on Steam at deep 80-90% discounts. So, when the enshittification inevitably hits the fan, I can jump ship without feeling like I’m loosing too much.
you could try the hamburger menu in the top right to add your pc with an (network) IP. If you’re tethered and that doesn’t work I’m out of ideas.
Yes, you do need both devices to be on the same network. USB tethering does just that (your pc connects to your phones internet connection).
It’s the same story as with PGP encrypted mail. It has existed for decades, is easy to use, but barely anyone does. It’s nice that encrypted sms exists but what’s the point if 99.999% don’t care.
Gitlab requiring a phone number verified account to report bugs kinda turned me off of that platform. Never used Codeberg but heard good things.
Didn’t know the eMule network was still a thing
Automated updates are nice
What’s your use case? If LibreTorrent is making your phone explode, you might want to run qbittorrent on a separate machine and use their web interface.
That sounds like the error message of a dev that handed in his 2 weeks.
but if you know how the technology works
That’s like what, 2% of online users globally? Let’s say pirates are marginally more tech savvy, so maybe 10% of pirates? If their plan works and they can get google to block access to all sorts of streaming and torrenting sites, that will massively reduce the numbers of people accessing illegal content.
Ootb. I will never use a phone that hasn’t been degoogled.
Objectively, these three statements form a paradox. At least one statement has to be false.
