That would be my recommendation as well. I would guess that the temu bulbs fail because they don’t seem to have any practical means of active cooling No heat sinks or other mode of heat dissipation. Couple that with likely bottom-shelf cob leds, and you are now piloting a seizure-mobile.

I do miss the old AVE. Pretty big bummer that he bought into all of that Covid and maga crap. Though his content was shifting away from my interest soon before that anyway, so it wasn’t a huge loss. Now if TOT or Bad Obsession starts bleeding stupid, it’s gonna sting.

SNL skits were always a mixed bag, and as previously stated, never improv-forward. Weekend update has historically been the consistent oasis of the show.

Purely subjective take, mind, but I feel like the rare occasion I watch more than the cold-open and weekend update, maybe one in ten skits ever seem funny and paced well. Most drag on for longer than they should given the density. And admittedly, I am getting old.

I am not sure, I was just guessing it did. The last episode just had me going, “oh, OK. Fair enough.” and didn’t really provoke any more curiosity out of me. I think between the general fractured feel of it all and duration between seasons… Should have named it Disengagement.

I enjoyed it for the most part. I just had a hard time shaking how disjointed it all felt. It was missing something to keep it cohesive and flowing properly. I can’t put my finger on it.

Meanwhile, Disenchantment seemed like it was written episode by episode. I guess it all tied up in the end, but I didn’t care about 90+ percent of the arcs, so the whole series felt half-baked to me. I enjoyed it, but something felt off, by miles.
