My god, the orange bafoon handled it so much better
Yeah, if you completely ignore anything that came out of his mouth. His sentences very maybe more coherent, but the content was certainly awful.

Was looking at your post and this crazy incident popped up on my phone: https://apnews.com/article/long-island-minivan-nail-salon-crash-5e9fc211611203204bc37f4a436ca9b7
Just start doing it now and eventually things will have converted. It may take a while, but it will happen eventually if you do it consistently.
But there are too many contrarian Americans out there who’ll take inconvenience over logic just because it “the American way” or “America is special.” Have several of those people in my extended family.
Definitely a thing in the US. People spend lots of money to have chemicals poured onto their lawns every year, summer and winter, to keep the weeds away. All of those chemicals have to go somewhere. Probably the groundwater and streams and other bodies of water. Not good.
But also don’t automatically dismiss until we know more.
Sure, there are advantages and disadvantages to both. For me, it’s about flexibility. And I put a crap ton of money into the house that I will never see again. Just regular maintenance, landscaping needs, etc. Thinks you don’t have to think about or pay for when renting.
I feel the same way. I currently own a home, but I honestly want to sell. For me, it’s mostly about the flexibility. I hate not having the flexibility to up and move if a new job opportunity presents itself or I just want to try a new place.
There’s also a crap ton of expenses associated with owning beyond just the mortgage, insurance, and taxes.
Guns over children. Except if they are not born. Nice.
Or we can actually do something to prevent it from ever happening. The math is not hard. No guns = no gun violence.
On the other hand, US families can also expect their kindergarteners to have to participate in active shooter drills. Because, you know, active shooters are a thing. Screw that.
Yes, I believe the GPS ones are also guided by a wire to find edges and find their way home. The GPS is mostly for theft prevention. Won’t work outside a specific area unless it’s unlocked from the backend.
The ones I have seen are GPS locked and they automatically “return home” to the charger when rain drops are detected.

You in the US?
Robot lawn mowers are very common in Europe. You’ll see these small electric mowers in people’s yards all over the place. Businesses also have them running all day out front. Never seen one in the US.
They are equipped with GPS, so they are locked to a specific area to prevent theft.
I do think that nuclear power is necessary for the green transition. For now at least.
But two things: 1. It creates radioactive waste that will destroy storage sites for centuries to come. 2. Mining and preparing the fuel needed for the reactors is far from green.
Children don’t decide for themselves. If you’re a father, you have responsibilities to your child. Risking your life in this way affects the child in a profound way, especially if you slip and die. That’s not ok.
as long as he doesn’t hurt anyone else it’s fine.
The whole conversation was about doing this while having children and a family. He would be hurting others.
It’s extremely selfish, narcissistic.
Not true. It absolutely does matter.
