  • I’ve been a listener of all types of jazz for about 15 years. In my experience, Japanese jazz is akin to having one of those YouTube ‘chillhop lofi Jazz’ live streams up. It isn’t super technical and gets a bit repetitive to me, but it’s nice to have on every now and then while I’m trying to multitask.

I mean, I’m watching Righteous Gemstones right now and loving it for what I thought was just a funny fictional show.

Then I learned that even celebrities still share stuff to social media about supporting these rich fucking leeches. Nothing surprises me anymore. People don’t think about the climate or Earth’s finite resources or ecological collapse. Because as long as some rich fuck with a platform gets on it and says, “That’s not true,” their followers will believe it.

And yes, I’m referring to uneducated religious people, which take up around half of this godforsaken country.

  • Thanks for your comment, I specifically meant drums and should’ve clarified. Yamaha sets were always up there in cost compared to all low/mid range sets growing up through the 2000s, though I haven’t compared prices in over 5 years. As far as guitars go, I’m currently learning and started with a Yamaha FG800 I picked up used for $175, though even full price wasn’t bad.

  • Honestly, might not be a popular opinion but I live in a big city and the amount of gardening-related local Facebook groups is insane. And since it’s Facebook, it’s all old people who have decades of experience with this shit. AND it’s region specific so they are constantly throwing down relevant advice for the zone you live in. 10/10 it’s literally the reason why I keep Facebook haha.
