Right, but weed is a perfectly ordinary word and I’ve typed it on my KB many times before recently trying to swipe it.
Checks out. With a round bun that cut is equally “lengthwise” as the normal cut, even.
I don’t think it has anything to do with censorship and the swipe library doesn’t use AI. It’s just a very ambiguous swipe near very common letters.
On a hunch, I tried simply holding for 1 second on the E. It seems to work a lot better than a loop. You can even see the hovering word change from “we” to “wee” while paused on the E.
That’s exactly how I feel.
Dennis Taylor wrote a blog post back in January that the recording and editing were done and it should be out by March. So I rejoined Audible since they offered me a good deal (4 months for $24). I figured I’d get the Bobiverse book when it came out and a few others.
Well, Audible delayed the book until September because… reasons. Fuckers. Now I might just pirate it. Maybe find a way to send a few bucks Dennis’ way.
All speakers are two pins. 🤔 They were crappy because they were most often little piezoelectric speakers, or otherwise very small where they couldn’t play low frequency sounds well.
