You would if piracy wasn’t an option. Maybe not all of it, but some of it.
Independent thinker valuing discussions grounded in reason, not emotions.
Open to reconsider my views in light of good-faith counter-arguments but also willing to defend what’s right, even when it’s unpopular. My goal is to engage in dialogue that seeks truth rather than scoring points.

We can’t pirate a company into bankruptcy because there are still people paying for the movies and games we download. If everyone pirated content, these companies would go bankrupt, and there would no longer be new content to pirate. Online pirates often justify their behavior by telling themselves a story about how they’re ‘sticking it to the man,’ but in reality, we’re just freeriders enjoying the fruits of others’ labor. We’re leeches with no moral ground to stand on.

I have a spray bottle with dish soap and water on my kitchen counter that I use for washing dishes … and my glasses.
Spray the lenses, rinse, blow them dry with the help of a straw (so I don’t spit on them) Boom. Clean glasses without the need to touch the lenses.
It’s a bladed tool. You can absolutely notice a difference between a sharp and dull shovel. The edge rounds out in use. A quick touch-up with a file helps a ton.
One or two times probably not but more than that likely will. Especially if there were major dents you grinded away. You can buy a cheap plastic tool to check the balance and then just grind away from the non blade side to balance it out.
Shovel is a common item many don’t realize needs sharpening too
I was dunking this into water between the heavy grinding. Heat is the enemy there.
Not even close. That level of sharpness would only matter on axe if you intend to use it as a weapon. Chopping wood with edge like that would just bend it and make it dull prematurely.
Yeah, edge that sharp serves no purpose on axe. It’ll bend and then be dull again. Shallower point with the burr removed is more durable and stays sharp(ish) for much longer.
I have no idea. It was one of those black fibre ones that you attach to a drill. I had originally used it to polish stainless steel after welding. Stropping is the difference between reflecting light and reflecting image
That’s mostly why I polished it, though we might be thinking of different contaminants
Not very - it doesn’t need to be. Sharpened and re-profiled it with a 80 grit flap disc on angle grinder and took it to polishing wheel + leather strop. The shine is just for the looks.
She lives in a rowhouse with a tiny yard without a single tree on it. Maybe she need it for something else - or someone.
