Not something I ever expected to see, but what a visually arresting shot.

When can I get one of these voices to read an epub on my phone? I’d love to have something like that
That’s exactly how I do it! Recycling in the back, trash in the front, rotate them out when the trash is full. As an added bonus, we have a compost bin.
We have the same trash bins! That makes us bin buddies!
It’s very much a factor of right place and right time.
For their mental health, the astronauts are required to have calls with people down here. Tracy is an acquaintance of someone my wife knows, so when the call was set up, we made the invite list.
We have no personal connection, we just managed to sit in the room while others talked. Tracy did put out an offer to come visit her at Johnson when she’s back, so you better believe we’ll follow up on that.
I literally got to be a part of a group that got to chat with astronaut Tracy Caldwell Dyson on the ISS yesterday afternoon. It was a really cool, candid, behind the scenes experience as she did a little mini-tour through the space station.
The craziest part for me was when she took her phone to the observatory and we watched the sun vanish behind the horizon of the earth. It happened so quickly and so brilliantly that it took my breath away and nearly brought me to tears. It was spectacular.
It was almost two hours with lengthy breaks as we lost contact a few times. But what an amazing experience.
How would this handle audiobooks? I’ve not made the move to Jellyfin yet, as Plex handles all my multimedia needs for now, but I’ve been keeping an eye on Jellyfin’s development with interest.
I’ve been learning to employ self-compassion for these scenarios. Just pretend my life belongs to a friend who’s sharing it with me. How would I respond?
I’m so much more generous and compassionate to others, so learning to give that same compassion and dignity to myself has been healing.

47 locations in 8 states. 34 of them are in Texas.
I think it’s fair to describe it as primarily a Texas experience.
It’s a gas station chain in Texas called Buc-ee’s. Some Texans freak out about it in a huge way. I have lots of Buc-ee branded apparel as a result of my brother-in-laws passion, which he’s instilled in my niece who now insists on more shirts for her aunt and uncle.
I’m cool with it as they pay everyone well above minimum wage. If you want to fan out over a corporation, you could do much worse.
Looks like a caterpillar.
Yes, I’m not implying capitalism is a form of government. I’m saying the form of government best suited to containing the excesses of capitalism is Democratic socialism.
This is always the goal of capitalism, no need to give it some alternative name on order to white wash the brand.
The answer is Democratic socialism. It’s our stuff they’re stealing, we can take it back.
I didn’t see the car at first and thought it was just a lovely picture.
I thought you were going to be uncon-sole-able.
I’m not 100% sure, but I think that’s relative time. If he’s caught on its gravitational well, I think he’d just fall in real time from his perspective.
The plumage around the eyes make it look like a cartoon character and I’m here for it.
Never even heard of it, but it goes on the list!
