To combine the comments would probably require a revision to the lemmy protocol, plus an even bigger one to the backend software to keep backwards compatibility
…is that seriously your reason? Do you know about how Codeberg displayed something about a javascript error on top of that website for months? Mistakes happen, and as long as they have backup plans I don’t see how that is an issue.

I’ll point to someone down this thread about eye contact in that case. It’s not like it costed much though, reviewers have noted that iSight’s display quality is quite horrible and it seems like all this features added was a small screen
By default, it’s just undo text input when you either do a special swipe or tap the back, useful in e.g. the web browser. However applications can hook into this functionality to do their own stuff when the gesture is called.
