Apple’s M-series came out in 2020. I think that with Win11(2021) being shitty with hardware requirements made a ton of people just buy a macbook air or mac mini.
Only people running Windows today are hostages to either work or gaming. The gamers really should just be dual booting too.
Wireguard can solve secure remote access without* passwords. Android and iPhone both have clients that can be configured to bring the VPN up once you leave wi-fi. Bringing a third party into your home is just not wise.
Core 2 Duo, wow! Present day raspberry pi is likely faster and much more power efficient. Not to mention security considerations.
