Homeplugs (ethernet over power) are fine for some things, but they add so much latency to the network.

Wired is so much better.

    10 ms latency isnt going to harm anything i do at home (i dont think so). I won’t argue against having g lower latency if its an option, but how are your workloads benefiting?

    I use a similar plug and Im happy with it, but I’m worried I shouldn’t be.

      Yes 10ms is thing in the grand scheme of things, but I have noticed things loading quicker. It’s not faster, like downloading. But pages load quicker.

      My 3 way setup was find when on the same ring, as I think my house has 2 socket rings and most of it is on 1.

      But moving my home office and homelab to my shed messed that up.

      If it works for you great, for me I needed a change.
