If a DIY hacker can figure it out, so could Nintendo/LEGO. I’d be happy with an add-on purchase even from them. But the truth is Nintendo doesn’t want you playing games this way, they want to funnel you onto the Switch. I’m positive that’s the real reason why the build isn’t functional out of the box.
