Those procedures ARE psychologically beneficial care and are mostly NOT dangerous, unlike whatever torturous conversion therapy equivalent you seem to have in mind.

The kids just know it exists and that some adults are fucking mean about it.
Sorry but what I know it has been happening is way beyond letting them know “it exists”.
