i just created a lemmy instance, akarisarea.nohost.me, so i’m wondering how to see all the upvotes and comments from communities i subscribed to

    You need to be visible on the internet, if my instance can’t see you then I can’t send you updates

      Yeah and make sure your DNS is properly setup with A records and that you’ve configured port forwarding on your router (usually ports 80/443) - most federation issues happen becuase other instances literally can’t reach your server.
