Only in America would they turn a gas station into a superstore with the parking lot the size of a small town.

Every American should go to a Bucees at least once in their lifetime. It’s like a distillation of the intersection of what people in Europe think America is and how Americans also perceive their own nation.

First time I went to the US as an adult, I was shocked. When I stopped at a gas station to fill up the rental car, I noticed they sold beer at the gas station. And it was on sale. My norwegian mind almost exploded

You did not have to go that far away to find that. The gas station is where a lot of Germans get their beer on Sundays, too.

The title here reminds me of when people send Asks to Neil Gaiman on tumblr, asking if the two ladies who live together in Coraline are just friends. Like, they lived together for 40 years, but maybe they just enjoyed each other’s company? Haha
