That’s when I just put the airflow on “feet”. Most cars will actually blow like 30% up on the windshield when set to the feet direction. This lets me avoid running the a/c if I don’t want to.

Yes! It’s great to see some Community content pop up
I sometimes wonder if I made the right decision by only watching GoT through season 7. Then I get reminded to just appreciate what I got 🤣
Is Dunk and Egg good? I saw season 1 on disc at Walmart the other day to learn that it exists.

4·10 days agoI’m in the US and my ISP gives everyone CGNAT by default. On the lower tier plans, we have the option to buy a semi-static IP for an extra fee. The higher tier plans include the semi-static IP for free upon request.
I have also been talking with them about IPv6. They will only grant customers a /64 prefix because their pool of v6 addresses is so small, they would run out of their allocation if they granted customers a /60.
By only giving customers a single /64 I cannot implement v6 on my VLANs. This is incredibly frustrating considering v6 has like so many addresses it’s not even like a number most people know. Like a trillion trillion or whatever. And you’re telling me I can only have one (subnet)?

1·10 days agoOff topic but out of curiosity, how many people actually work in a data center? I’ve always wanted to work in one but got the impression that there are only a small number of people, maybe a dozen or so, dedicated to keeping the hardware running.
But hearing how it’s affected you makes me think it might not be the best choice for me. I worked from home for about 5 years up to and during COVID, and honestly can relate to feeling less comfortable in social situations after a while. I think the first year or so I was fine and then started to notice the decline of actually wanting to interact with other people.
No matter how you shake and dance, the last few drops fall on your pants.

3·5 months agoAll true. But a few years ago Fire TV had a big update that put full screen video ads that you must navigate off of every time you wake up the fire stick. It’s so bad we stopped using it.

31·5 months agoRoku has WAY LESS ads than Fire TV. Yes I get one on the home screen, off to the side, easily ignored.
It’s true they might add more later. It is pretty much the only corporate strategy these days.
Idk if Apple TV is still no ads. It is usually suggested as the best home streamer.
I agree with you but also about 90% of watching on my instance happens on smart TV’s. So even though I would like to have oidc supported for the occasional phone/pc user I would still need something basic that a TV can use.
