Helene was only a category 4 and did this amount of damage. It’s insane.

Back in the day I used to check out civfanatics.com for mods. There were tons for Civ4:BTS that made it so much cooler. After playing that and then playing Civ5, I was incredibly disappointed. Civ6 is better, but not by much. I still go back to Civ4 when I need my “one more turn” fix.

Add in re-hiring those same employees at a lower rate or off-shoring to India to get 3x the head count for the same wage and that’s basically what’s going on.

I have this happen sometimes when it gets cold out. My fingers may turn this shade or just bluish purple. Warming them, rubbing them, etc seems to bring them back.

Consider the first three books one trilogy that completes a story. It ends with a cliffhanger that picks up millenia later with the next three. The two written by Frank’s son “finish” the main story.

I enjoyed all of them and will reread them at some point. Of all of them, chapterhouse was the weirdest of them.

My dog happily ate her food after throwing up this morning. She has GERD, which is typical for her breed. Sometimes she doesn’t feel well, pukes instead of eating (which would help the nausea), then I get to clean up puke while she eats her breakfast. If I don’t put enough topper on her kibble, or cook an egg and mix it in, or sprinkle cheese on top, often times she won’t eat at all.
