If “A Major” in the title was intentional, then bravo!
Honestly I’d be exited to be able to meet the composer anyway, and maybe give him a pat on the head.

ME TOO! MY BIG BROTHER SAID IT’S CAPS UNLOCK BUT I CAN’T FIND THAT KEY ANYWHERE.
And even if that bullet traveled at escape velocity it would only end up in a slightly more eccentric orbit. If my mental model is right, they would have to wait until a bit after sunset and shoot straight up to send it in the right direction while encountering the least atmospheric drag.
…🤓
Loved it to death as a kid, and I still listen to the OST every now and then. It has some great music! The first several songs are so unbelievably chill.
This is really cool, thanks for sharing!
You can find plenty of ISO files on archive.org. I’m not sure about the legality of it, so I’ll say I don’t condone doing it, etc. But some of them have been there for several years, so I think MS doesn’t care.
Just be careful about clinking links in the user comments. People have been known to post shady links and moderation seems to be lacking, from what I’ve seen.
Good luck getting your game to run! Oh, and long live archive.org!
I have a virtual machine with WinXP and one with 98, for when I’m feeling nostalgic :)
Sorry to hear you have to use Windows… I’m still stuck on 10 but I’ve been enjoying the hell out of Mint Xfce and I’ll complete the move soon enough!
Your use of “OOP” and “functional” threw me for a loop for a second, then I remembered this isn’t about programming. I should get some extra sleep tonight.
A book by Dr. Seuss
Neat! That reminds me of this thing I saw years ago. I wonder if the underlying phenomenon is the same.
That’s some pretty blatant cherry picking, but I’m sure it’s to emphasize the humor of the source video.
Putting that aside, I’ve never been a fan of the Genesis sound chip. It’s way too harsh and buzzy for my poor ears. I respect the opinion of people who love it, but I feel for the parents who had to tolerate hearing that every day.
Of course I was no better about not being annoying, especially when I would literally run around in circles while the end-of-stage music for Yoshi’s Island played on a loop.
One of my first smartphones could do that as well. I don’t pay for streaming services and I don’t have infinite data like most people seem to have, so I dearly miss that kind of feature. The corporate overlords have decided that free is bad.
I haven’t had a crash happen on that screen but it takes its fucking time loading a non-paginated list of thousands of elements. And there’s no search bar IIRC. MS made this process as painful as possible and I’m convinced that that’s exactly the way they want it.
It happens to me too, but I’m always grateful if I have even a few minutes to shut my eyes again. They usually feel dry/irritated because I’m a night owl and don’t give myself enough time to sleep.
Yeah, 20 if I’m lucky 😞
Certainly feels eternal at 6:50. On the bright side, if you decide to get up and answer nature’s call, the feeling of slipping back under the already-warm covers is unbeatable.
This guy’s down
We should be thankful that this thing hasn’t been conjured into the real world.
Infinite money sounds great, but if you activate this glitch the Law faction becomes hostile toward you and their aggro range is increased.
There is a similar cheat that you can activate with a cheat code, but your parents need to input the code on the title screen before starting your game. You’ll start in “New Game +” with huge bonuses to cash and influence. The Law faction becomes friendly toward you, and the MegaRich are neutral instead of hostile, and they’ll even forgive minor grievances sometimes.
I never learned the code so I can’t help much more than that. Sorry 😔
G CONNEEEEEEEEECT!
